I love the way it looks like the flower is grabbing at something. I’m not sure what it’s grabbing at, maybe at a passing bee, or if I was to think a little more romantically I could say that it’s reaching for another flower mate. Nature is just so cool sometimes.

I don’t know if this is as much a sign as it is a bunch of cool stickers and graffiti, either way it’s cool.

As I wonder the streets of Tokyo, random thoughts go through my head, ideas I ponder, ideas I may one day actually put into action.
Sometimes these ideas are important and could change the world, sometimes…
I wonder why you almost never see accessories for Mr Potato Head. Sure you can but a whole Mr Potato Head in many themes, but you can’t ever just get the parts. I already have a Darth Tatter Mr Potato Head, but I also want my Mr Potato Head to be able to dress up as Spider Man or Optimus Prime without having to buy a whole other Mr Potato Head.

Today we went to Kamakura to check out some of the cool shrines they have all over the place.
All of the shrines have at least one big or cool attraction to see, like this wall of hydrangeas.
Most famous in Kamakura is the giant Buddha.
You can go inside and check out what makes a giant Buddha tick. But most importantly I discovered something about all of the shrines I’ve been to so far.
At the shrine with the giant Buddha they too had a giant pair of shoes, and I realised that they would fit perfectly on the giant Buddha. Then I figured that maybe the other shrines with giant shoes had them out just in case the giant Buddha came to visit.

Today Allison and I went on an adventure to a really nice Japanese Garden. (I guess any garden we visit here is Japanese though)
They had nice plants and really cool bridges.
Allison fed a turtle…
And some fish too.
I named this fish Jim, he’s saying hello to everybody.

This morning Allison and I went to tour a bunch of Shrines in Fukagawa.
We saw all kinds of cool things.
Like a bag cleansing ceremony to help… well I guess cleanse your bag. I don’t know why your bag would need religious cleansing but who am I to judge.
A saw another giant shoe, it’s now more of a mystery than a thrill.
A whole day of shrines and not one fez or little car.

I don’t know what I like more, the example of shined shoes or the handle to hang onto for this wild shoeshine ride.

I saw this claw game the other day that appeared to give out loaves of bread. Yup you read that right, loaves of bread. But it gets better.
First of all the sign was enough to make me squeal with delight. It makes me want to hug a giant loaf of bread as well.
Finally and strangest of all is the bread is not real. The bread you win is a full size loaf of fake bread that you can squeeze. So the label on the side is a bit of a lie, it is in fact not “A loaf of bread” it is instead a “loaf of lies”.
